People
….you can research every politician that has ever lived and find good and bad in everyone of them. When the average citizen demonizes a politician or political party, and treats there supporters like “the enemy”, don’t we all lose something? The opportunity to learn from those whose ideas are different then our own, the benefit of compromise – and the idea that if everyone gives up something, more people benefit! Besides, demonizing, condemning, “taking sides” does nothing to resolve problems – they only serve to make enemies out of friends, but they don’t cure diseases, help the economy, or improve education! I know everyone has a set of principles they follow, but wouldn’t we all be better off if we could engage in discussion, and not attack-ads?

Well, I think it is childish to disrespect someone simply because they believe a little different than I do. I do consider myself a conservative for the most part. However, I don’t let no political boundry decide what is right and what ir wrong! I thought that the Swift Boat ad deal against John Kerry was childish! Here is a man who served his country in Vietnam! I mean I don’t know the details, but it doesn’t matter! A veteran like Kerry should be respected and I will thank him for his service to our country! No; I don’t agree with John Kerry politically, but he is an American and a human being! I also see alot of the attacks on President Bush to be rather childish. I mean, yes we invaded Iraq but, I cannot help but to wonder what alot of people would be saying had not Bush taken out Saddam! Catch 22? Damn if you do, damn if you don’t! Alot of people who oppose the war now actually wanted to invade Iraq! Excuses to undermind people for political gain is childish.

He is getting negative attacks for asking “are you tired of negative political ads?”…but I am tired of negative political ads, and we all know we have to listen to them for almost another year..and then we get a break for about 2 minutes and they will start again. …(question break for the yahoo police) you agree?
He said “Merry Christmas”…shame on him!!!
I thought it was great for a candidate to say Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays. It shows that he will not fall into the political correct ways that 12% of America wants to run with. (I dont know if 12% is the right number..but I’m sure someboby will let me know)
So here’s the main question. Is it fake outrage, or was people actually offended by Huckabee wishing Americans good health and a safe Christmas?

So many people, both on here and off, attack others’ personal lives based on their political beliefs and I just can’t understand it. It makes no sense to say that all liberals have “nasty personalities” or that conservatives all want to kill people. The ad hominem attacks are not only unproductive and nonsensical, but always further your opponents’ view that your side is full of morons and/or nutjobs.
