Do You Think The Negative Attack Ads For The Election Reflect How Disgusting The Political Leaders Really Are?
The negative ads are really quite vile. Do you think these ads actually show how disgustingly vile politicians are, and how far they are willing to “SPIN” things to make their party look better, and the other party worse?
If this be the case – how much spin do politicians use during their reign of power over all their political opponents, including those of other countries and ideologies when it comes to all things political including wars?

I think it is more an indication of how vile the people are. The sad truth is that attack ads work. It is a lesson that Democrats have been very slow in learning. In the last presidential election, Kerry did not respond to the Swift Boat Veterans ads. He thought if he ignored them, the truth would prevail. It did not. If he wanted to go negative, he could have run ads calling Bush a draft dodger, a former drunk, and a former coke head. If he had, he’d probably be president now.

Yes. These ads are the only time pols might be telling the truth.

I think it underscores their desperation more than anything else.

I would just like to see ads that tell us where the candidate in questions stands on the issues. Nothing else. Attack ads are boring and tiresome.
